ABMEC goes to Lapland

On a recent UKTI organised visit to both Finland and Lapland, ABMEC Director General, Sarah Varney visited a copper and nickel mine, met with students at a mining university and spoke to organisations keen to work with British companies about investing in Finland. With the recent cold and snowy weather in West Yorkshire, it was almost a home-from-home for five days, albeit the temperature was -13c on some occasions.

The UKTI work closely with companies and trade associations and ABMEC is pleased to announce that it has recently been awarded ‘Trade Challenge Partnership’ status by the UKTI to continue its good work in helping UK companies to export.
